Obsession Highlights Email September 2006

It’s been an explosive three months since we sent out our last Highlights email. Obsession has gained international acclaim with extensive media exposure, thanks to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and others. This Highlights email will update you on the latest Obsession happenings, including upcoming film festivals, new approbations, media clips, and Obsession premiere events.

Wayne Kopping, Director of Obsession, was featured on the Rush Limbaugh Show. Rush interviewed Wayne, who called in from South Africa, for 13 minutes – an unprecedented length for the show.

Wayne Kopping and Nonie Darwish were interviewed live on the Hannity and Colmes Fox television show. In addition, Obsession was featured on the show again the next night.

Wayne Kopping was interviewed on the Laura Ingraham Show.

Wayne Kopping was interviewed on WJR Radio - ABC Detroit.

Obsession was featured in FrontPageMag.com.

You can now order the pre-release edition of Obsession, a 60-minute version of the film.

For a brief period, Obsession was available for viewing on Google Video, thanks to someone who uploaded the DVD in its entirety. Since then, we have removed it from the site. However, in that short period of time, Obsession rose to 6th place on Google Video, giving the film tremendous exposure, and demonstrating an enormous amount of public interest in the film.

It is no secret that Obsession’s success is largely dependant upon our supporters. How widely and how effectively we are able to spread the message about the threat of Radical Islam and the necessity for the free world to stand up for our values is in ALL of our hands.

Our immediate priorities are to find a distributor and to generate positive media coverage. If you can help us, or you know of someone who can help us, please contact us at info@obsessionthemovie.com.

New Approbations

"One of CORE's members said Obsession is the West's wakeup call. It is not. It's the wakeup call for anyone that believes in civilization and the peaceful advancement of man."

- Niger Innis,
National Spokesman, Congress of Racial Equality

"As a retired Air Force Major General who has lived and traveled through the Middle East and has commanded major combat organizations in key Muslim countries, I believe Obsession is a movie that every American ought to see. It is the most accurate description I've seen of the great struggle that the western world will face for many years to come."

- Bentley Rayburn,
Major General, USAF (Retired)

"Obsession tells it like it is---or rather, allows the radical jihadists to tell it like it is without Western media editing. Anyone watching this film can conclude that Islamic terrorism is the main threat of our day…”

- Larry Schweikart,
Professor of History, U. of Dayton, and author, "America's Victories: Why the U.S. Wins Wars and Will Win the War on Terror"

“[Thank you for showing Obsession] … because it really shows what is core behind the basic problems, the roots of the threat of Islamic extremism that we are fighting. .”

- General Tom McInery,
Fox Military Analyst, on Fox News, Hannity and Colmes, July 28, 2006
